| ISTRUZIONE MEDIA:
Ha conseguito il Diploma di Maturità Scientifica presso il Liceo “Galeazzo Alessi” di Perugia nell’anno scolastico 1984/85. ISTRUZIONE UNIVERSITARIA E POST-UNIVERSITARIA Nel 1985 si è iscritto alla Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università degli Studi di Perugia; durante il corso di laurea ha frequentato come allievo interno, dal 1988, l’Istituto di Patologia Speciale Medica e Metodologia Clinica, diretto dal Prof. Paolo Brunetti, seguendo sia l’attività clinica che di ricerca. Ha conseguito la laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia il 28 ottobre 1991, con la votazione di 110/110 e lode, relatore il Prof. Paolo Brunetti. Si è abilitato all’esercizio della professione di medico chirurgo nella sessione di novembre ’91 con la votazione di 50/50. Nel 1991 ha vinto il concorso per l’ammissione alla Scuola di Specializzazione in Endocrinologia e Malattie del Ricambio, presso l’Università degli Studi di Perugia. – THE JOURNAL OF CLINICAL ENDOCRINOLOGY & METABOLISM – INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HYPERTHERMIA Nella sua attività professionale, ha eseguito circa 100.000 ecografie tiroidee, 20.000 agoaspirati ecoguidati di noduli tiroidei e oltre 1400 termoablazioni laser e 1000 alcolizzazioni di noduli tiroidei. Ha lavorato negli USA presso il Barbara Davis Center a Denver (CO) e al Karolisnka Hospital. Ha contribuito con un Collega di Albano Laziale a mettere a punto la metodica di ablazione laser di noduli tiroidei. Ha inoltre partecipato negli ultimi due anni alla stesura di linee guida di importanti società scientifiche internazionali |
